09/09/13 Guests can get lost in the beauty of a tall grass prairie at Potato Creek State Park’s prairie maze starting Sept. 13.

Visitors can wander through 1.25 miles of trails cut in the 7-foot-tall restored prairie grasses.

There are eight stations in the maze with questions about prairies. The answers will help visitors see the maze’s mystery picture.

Maze walkers should park at the west lot at the northwest corner of Worster Lake. Maps of the maze will be available at the park entrance gate, park office and the nature center through the end of October.

The maze is free. Admission to the park costs $5 per in-state vehicle or $7 per out-of-state vehicle.
