04/10/13  The Marshall County Treasurer’s Office is planning to mail out Property Tax Statements on Friday, April 12th.  If you do not receive your bill in a reasonable amount of time after April 12th please call the County Treasurer’s Office.

The first installment is due Friday, May 10th , 2013 and the second installment is due Tuesday, November 12th, 2013.

The Treasurer’s Office accepts partial tax payment at any time.  Penalties will be applied to unpaid tax balances after each property tax due date.  Receipts are provided for all payments made in the office.  If you send your payment by mail and include a self-address stamped envelope, a receipt will be returned to you.

As a courtesy and for your convenience you may drop your payment off at any Lake City Bank Branch and at First State Bank in Bourbon.  You must have your statement with you for them to take your payment.  The banks will collect payments for two weeks prior to the due date.  Taxpayers may also use the payment box located at the South Entrance of the building.  The box will close at 6 P.M. on May 10th and November 12th

Normal Office hours are Monday-Friday from 8 A.M.- 4 P.M. and will be open until 6 P.M. on Thursday, May 9th and Friday, May 10th. On Saturday, May 4th from 9 A.M. – 12 P.M. and also on Saturday, November 9th from 9A.M. – 12 P.M. The County Offices will be closed for Veteran’s Day November 11th.

You may also pay your property taxes using a debit card. A convenience fee in addition to the amount of tax owed will be charged to the cardholder by PayGov,Inc.  You may also use your card in the Treasurer’s Office or on the internet or by calling 1-800-480-8552.
