It was a 5 play-64 yard drive resulting in a Justin Drudge 10 yard scamper into the endzone that started the offensive blitz by Plymouth.
That drive sparked what eventually would be six scores for Plymouth by games end. With 52 seconds remaining in the first quarter, Jack Barron scored on a 3 yard run in a 10 play-95 yard drive that chewed up 3:08 of clock making the score 14-0 Plymouth.
The 2nd quarter seen Plymouth on defense until the 4:00 mark. On the sixth play of the drive, which started at the Memorial 40, Micheal Hartman ran in 3 yards followed by a two point conversion to Ritchie Sutch from Jack Barron making the score 22-0.
After a Plymouth stop, with 30 seconds remaining, Plymouth got good field position setting up a Justin Drudge 16 yard reception from Jack Barron making it 29-0 at the half.
Plymouth started the 3rd quarter with a defensive 4 & out performance on Memorial, resulting in another score by the Plymouth offense. At the 7:24 mark, Micheal Hartman scored his second touchdown on the night on a 1 yard run. It was a 6 play drive, chewing up 54 yards in 2:09. Plymouth’s lead increased to 36-0.
Plymouth’s next scoring drive started with 4:47 left in the 3rd quarter. Hartman had a nice 16 yard run on a 2nd & 15 play which set up the next 5 plays into the endzone. With 1:19 left in the quarter, Jack Barron had a 6 yard run on a 10 play-61 yard drive, using 3:28, to make the score 43-0 Plymouth.
With six minutes left in the ballgame, Memorial got on the board when Tishean Johnson scamperd in 5 yards on a 8 play-42 yard drive that took just under four minutes off the clock.
Plymouth now 4-1 will face Wawasee in Syracuse on Friday night. WTCA Pre-Game Show begins at 6:30pm.
