Plymouth Boys Soccer team improved to 5-10-2 on the season with a Sectional win over Wawasee on Monday.   Northwood is next on Wednesday in the Semi-Finals.

Last night Lincoln’s Red Storm 8th grade volleyball defeated Warsaw Lakeview 25-20, 21-25, 15-7.  Leaders for the match were:

Setting:  Bailey Eveland and Kendall Rhodes
Passing:  Kenzie Scheetz, Kenzie Quissell, and Alli Andrews
Hitting:  Kenzie Scheetz, Kenzie Quissell, and Kendall Rhodes
Serving:  Kenzie Scheetz, Leah Smith,
The team improves to 19 and 1.  They travel to Wawassee today.

The 7th grade volleyball team suffered their first conference loss last night against Warsaw Lakeview in 2 matches:
22-25;  18-25
This brings the record to 18 wins and 2 losses for the season.
Halle Reichard lead the team in serves with 15 good serves and Cassidy Holiday lead the team in kills.
Last weekend the lady Redstorm traveled to Crestview middle school and came home champions of the tournament.

They beat Riverview in the first match 25-12 and 25-15. Bethany Hayden and Gabby Ruiz played excellent in the back row. Meghan Scott, Megan Kersey, Alysa Kaminskas, and Sydnee Smith all played great front row games. Hailey Boal and MacKenzie Umbaugh lead the team in serves.
They beat Crestview for the trophy in 3 matches. 25-18 (W) 17-25 (L) 15-11 (W)
In the first game Mary Beaty and Halle Reichard lead the team in serves. Mary had 25 good serves in all followed by Halle who had 11. Kacee Peters played phenomenal in the back row with tons of amazing saves. Kelsey Owen and Cassidy Holiday played an all around great game.  While Kate Renneker, Mercedes Bastardo, and Emily Thompson filled in all the gaps.

This championship win was a definite team effort. The girls did a great job.
