11/11/13  The Indiana State Police Criminal Interdiction Unit along with the Plymouth Police Department had been conducting a several week investigation involving methamphetamine in the Plymouth area. 

During the investigation it was found that 37 year old Brian C. Edington of Plymouth was on probation through Marshall County and was wanted on an active warrant.  The investigation proceeded and a search warrant was obtained for the residence at 407 East Garro Street in Plymouth.  On Tuesday, November 5th Plymouth Police Officer Derek Workman located Mr. Edington and after a brief foot pursuit was located and taken into custody by Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Jonathan Bryant.

  Several members of the Indiana State Police Swat Team along with the Indiana State Police Interdiction Unit executed the search warrant on 407 East Garro Street in Plymouth.  At the time of the warrant no one was located at the residence.  During the search of the residence drug items were located. 

  A female with a child arrived at the scene and was interviewed by officers.  The Marshall County Child Protective Service was called and responded to the scene to speak to the female about the situation.

No other arrests were made although all information is being forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office in reference to possible charges being filed.
