Plymouth Police responded to the Love’s Truck Stop after receiving reports of a female who was screaming at customers at about 2:30 on Saturday morning, September 23rd.
A Plymouth Police Officer made contact with Amanda Minix, 38 who was listed as homeless in Plymouth while the bookings report shows she lives in Knox.
Amanda Minix immediately refused to follow commands from the officer and attempted to enter the Love’s store. As the officer tried to redirect Minix, she became combative and began to physically resist the officer.
Plymouth Police were able to take Minix into custody and she was transported to the Marshall County Jail for pending criminal charges of Resisting Law Enforcement and Disorderly Conduct. She was held on a $750 cash bond. 48 hours after being arrested, Minix was released with No Judicial Review.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
