05/24/13 Kick off your Memorial Day Weekend at the Plymouth Farmers’ Market (PFM). A wide variety of annuals and perennials as well as your favorite vegetable plants are ready for picking and planting. Mayor Mark Senter will be passing out American flags to commemorate the holiday and Master Gardeners will help you plant “Trees for an Urban Landscape”. Musical entertainment will feature Marcy Prochaska in her first appearance at the Market playing the dulcimer from 9 to 10:30.

The PFM is held every Saturday from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in River Park Square at Garro and River Streets, east of Michigan. The last day for the Market is Oct. 12, the second Saturday of the month. The Market is urging everyone to go ‘green’ so please bring your own shopping bag!

New vendors are always welcome. Applications for vendors and not-for-profits are available on the website at www.plymouthfarmersmarket.com or by contacting Tom Keb, Makret Manager, at (574) 217-5776.
