On tap for tonight Plymouth’s boys take on Peru at home in a game you can hear right here on WTCA, Brian Kunze and Nick Chaney will be court side starting at around 7:15 p.m.

 

Tomorrow the Plymouth Lady Pilgrims take on rival Warsaw and you can hear all that play by play action with Rusty Nixon and Dee Grenert right here on WTCA starting at around 7:15.

 

Plymouth’s wrestlers stayed undefeated at 6-0 with a 39-18 win over NLC foe Goshen. Winning matches for Plymouth were Cody Allmon, Kam Markovich, Tristan Rodriguez, Nolan Wright, Bodie Neidig, Michael Garrity, Jeremy Splix, Aaron Houin, Vicente Vasquez and Drew Dodson. Plymouth hosts their own Classic Duel Meet tomorrow at PHS.

 

The Indiana State Wrestling Coaches Association top 10 poll is out and two area teams are among the state’s elite. In Class A Bremen is ranked number four in the state and in Class 2A CMA checks in at number 15.

 

Plymouth High School’s swim team dropped decisions to Goshen with the girls falling by a 146-36 score the boys were beaten by Goshen 140.5 to 34.5. Devin Gritton and Colin Calvert had personal best times in the 200 free. Senior Captain Matthew Pearson had season best times and strong second place finishes in both the 100 fly and 500 free. Top swimmers for the week  are freshman Devin Gritton for her hard work, continued improvement and team spirit and Matt Pearson for leading his team by example with his commitment, enthusiasm and hard work.

 

Last night the 7th grade Red Storm defeated the Rochester Zebras by a score of 55-15. Blake Reed had his best game of the season leading the way with 9 points and 3 rebounds. Cam Dennie, Brayson Leazenby, and Larry Dragani pitched in 6. Bryce Carmichael and Evan Zigler pitched in a great effort defensively. The Red Storm are back in action Monday at home versus Triton.
