Syracuse Man Arrested by Bremen Police for OWI

  12/12/13  On Monday, December 9th at 5:47 p.m. off duty Bremen Reserve Officer Adrian Jimenez reported to the Bremen Police Department a possible impaired driver on US 6 east of Bremen.  Officer’s located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop at US 6 and State Road 331.  During the investigation officer’s located a controlled substance and evidence that the operator was intoxicated.  The driver was identified as 21 year old Nicholas Berger of Syracuse.  He was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated on a control substance, possession of a controlled substance and operating a vehicle while endangering a person.  Mr. Berger was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505 cash bond that was paid the next day and he was released.  Jimenez is scheduled to appear in Marshall Superior Court II on January 17th, 2014 for his initial hearing.
