05/28/13 Last Thursday morning officers from the Plymouth Police Department went to 1509 West Harrison Street just before 10 a.m. to serve an arrest warrant on Otis Young.  As officers arrived, 21 year old Tara Lee ran into the residence to warn Mr. Young of their presence.  She then met Officer John Weir at the door and told him Young wasn’t there and that she hadn’t seen him.

In the meantime Otis Young jumped out of a window and ran.  Officers from the Plymouth Police Department and Indiana State Police attempted to locate Mr. Young but were unable to do so.

Tara Lee was placed into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. Lee was booked in for assisting a criminal resisting an officer.  Her bond was set at $1,505.

A short time later about 11:25 Officer Ray West initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that had a traffic violation.  K9 Officer John Weir walked K9 Jax around the vehicle and indicated the presence of some type of narcotic.  A search of the vehicle found that Jessalyn Matthews was in possession of methamphetamines and a syringe.  She was taken into custody and booked for possession on a $3,005 cash bond.
