03/07/13 The Care and Share of Marshall County Annual Dinner Banquet and Meeting will take place at the Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall on State Road 17 in Plymouth. The evening will begin with a silent auction fundraiser at 6p.m. this Saturday, March 9th, followed by a wonderful dinner prepared by the ladies of the Pretty Lake Church. Tickets for the banquet are $15.00 each or $75.00 for a table of 6. Reservation can be made by calling Care and Share at 941-2273.
Care and Share is a faith-based United Way agency dedicated to guidance of those with needs in Marshall County. Each week they help households in crisis helping over 700 families in 2012. This banquet is an opportunity for you to learn more about Care and Share and how to be a part of their great work. Every dollar of your support goes directly toward helping those in crisis as the operational expenses are covered through United Way, fund raisers such as this, and dedicated Board Members who directly support the needed expenses.
The current 12 member board includes Doug Kucera, Father Bill Kummer, Bill Wallace, Karen Alderfer, Mary Hartsell, Patty Grace, Beverly Harris, Mayor Mark Senter, Jane Wallace, Donna Whitmer, Kim Hostettler, Thomas Hutchison, Tom Wruble, Treasurer and Director, Pastor Jim Irwin.
