11/05/13 On Friday, November 1st at 8:48 p.m. Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Jordan Rans conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Pilot Travel Center located on US 30 at King Road.
The initial investigation led to the arrest of the driver, 41 year old Christopher R. Altman of Bremen for driving while suspended with a prior charge of the same offense. Further investigation led officers to locate an illegal drug lab in the vehicle.
A passenger in the vehicle, 49 year old DuWayne A. Amor of Plymouth was arrested for the illegal drug lab and manufacturing methamphetamine. Both subjects were transported to the Marshall County Jail where DuWayne Amor was held on a $50,005 bond and Christopher Altman was held on a $1,505. Altman was released on Sunday, November 3rd after posting bond and received a November 19th date to appear in Superior Court II.
