01/03/13 Tuesday morning, January 1st about 8:30 the Plymouth Police Department received a report from McDonalds on North Michigan Street that a red Dodge Neon had struck their building.  The female driver appeared to be intoxicated and left southbound on Michigan Street.

A minute or two later the Marshall County 9-1-1 Dispatch Center received a call regarding a red car that had struck a tree on Michigan Street at Harrison Street.  Detective Stg. Leo Mangus with the Plymouth Police Department located suspect vehicle at Michigan and Harrison as the second call was received.

The driver, 22 year old Elisabeth Trevino of West Harrison Street in Plymouth was taken into custody and submitted to a chemical breath test. She was found to be driving while intoxicated.  She was arrested for OWI and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.  She was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a bond of $1505 which was paid at 7 p.m.  Elisabeth Trevino is to appear in Marshall Superior Court II on January 8th.
