08/12/13 Triton School Corporation held an ice cream social on Saturday evening during the Bourbon Summerfest to celebrate 50 years of Triton Schools!
Superintendent of the Triton Community School Corporation, Donna Burroughs said, “We gave away 200 ice cream cones and enjoyed visiting with everyone in attendance.” She continue, “We thank the First State Bank of Bourbon for sponsoring this event.” She also thanked the staff members and their families: Dawn Slein, Mary Ann Broeker, Michelle Waymouth, Diane Westphal, and board member Terri Barnhart who served along with senior student, Ms. Gann, who assisted in the serving of ice cream cones.
