04/23/13 The Triton School Corporation in Bourbon will be hosting a Free Electronic Recycling Day this Saturday, April 27thfrom 8:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.  Triton’s Destination ImagiNation Teams will be there to help.

So as you are doing your spring cleaning, think about all those electronic gadgets that no longer work.  Don’t keep them lying around, they need to be recycled.  Plan on attending the Triton School Electronic Recycling Day this Saturday.

Items being accepted include: monitors, laptops, servers, TV’s, printers, computers, printers/fax/scanners, video game consoles, computer mice and keyboards, PDA and cell phones, all computer parts, MP3/IPods, Stereos, phones, UPS batteries, copiers, typewriters, cash registers, networking equipment, satellite dishes, cable boxes, DVD players and VCR’s.

Household items being accepted include: vacuum cleaners without bags, blenders, mixers, coffee makers, bread machines, fryers, irons, food sealing equipment, electric knives, shaving equipment, hair cutters, hair dryers, tooth brushes, VHS Tapes, holiday lights, massagers, radios, clocks, heaters, fans, cameras, phones, remotes, toaster ovens, microwaves and metal tools such as drills, screwdrivers and small saws.

All batteries must be removed from cordless and rechargeable items.

Non accepted items are: household batteries, curling irons, and white goods such a refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, ect.
