11/13/13 All fifth and sixth graders from Triton Elementary School and about twenty-five Triton High School student leaders participated in the annual “Feed My Starving Children” program at Nappanee.

Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children and “Feed My Starving Children” ships these meals to nearly 70 countries around the world. Click here to learn more about how you can become involved.

Triton students packed meals for starving children around the world.  With just two hours of team work and service these students and their chaperones packed 93,528 meals that will be shipped to various places in the world to feed 256 children for the next year.

Superintendent Donna Burroughs said, “What an awesome experience for our students! Learning the importance of giving and serving is a lifetime lesson!”
