10/10/13 On Tuesday, October 8th at approximately 9:30 in the morning Plymouth Police Officer Derek Workman responded to the area of Lake Avenue in reference to a possible intoxicated male riding a bicycle. Officer Workman located the subject at Fifth and Washington Streets. The suspect was identified as 26 year old Scott Ramos of Plymouth. During a short investigation Mr. Ramos was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and was taken into custody. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on possession of a controlled substance charge and held on a $1,505 bond. He was released later that afternoon after posting bond and received a Superior Court II date of November 26th for his initial hearing.
Later Tuesday night at 9:36 Officer Matthew Emenhiser was dispatched to the Economy Inn located at 2335 North Michigan Street in reference to a disturbance. Arriving at the motel the officer located 33 year old Anthony W. Farris who was staying at the Economy Inn. Farris has initially identified himself falsely to the officer. Farris was found to have an active warrant through LaPorte County. He was taken into custody for the active warrant and charged with false informing and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on a $1,505 bond.
