04/18/13 On Tuesday, April 16th at 3:24 P.M. Plymouth Police Officer Jesse Pippenger responded to the Marshall County Probation Department in reference to a male subject with an active warrant through Marshall County. Arriving there, 19 year old Austin T. Shreve of Lakeville was taken into custody on an active warrant for a probation violation. Shreve was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held without bond.
Later Tuesday evening at 7:28 P.M. Officer Tim Taberski, while working loss prevention at Krogers was advised by an employee that a customer that had used the U-scan, paid for only part of their merchandise and then proceeded to exit the building. After reviewing a copy of the receipt it was revealed that 22 year old, Korby J. Jones of Rochester had only paid for $45 of merchandise and was found to be in possession of approximately $300 worth merchandise that had not been paid for in the parking lot. Jones was arrested for theft and was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a $1,505 bond. He was released at 9:53 P.M. after posting bond.
