03/19/13 Plymouth High School Senior, Michaila Nate, and Junior, April Bowen, survived the toughest district tournament in Indiana to qualify for the National Forensic League National Tournament in June. The tournament will be held in Birmingham, Alabama.
Michaila, who had qualified earlier this year in Congressional Debate, advanced by winning USA Extemp as well. Since students may only participate in one event, she has chosen USA Extemp. This is her third trip to the national finals.
April finished 2nd in Dramatic Interp to earn her spot at the national tournament. This is her first trip to the NFL National Tournament.
