Its a shame that people who develop a drug problem are considered criminals. Addiction is a disease just like any other. People choose to do drugs but they don't choose to be addicts. If someone commits a crime while they are high then by all means lock them away but alot of folks are non violent drug offenders who need rehabilitation not incarceration. Instead of paying thousands of dollars a year to keep non violent offenders incarcerated why would it not be a better idea to get them real help so they can be productive members of society instead of a drain on our state budget? Prison is not always the answer and it is in no shape or form "rehabilitative".

Take a good look folks. 35yrs old...that's the face of Meth. I know people twice her age who look better than that, much better; they will probably alive long after that is buried too.

I don't think they can go away long enough for either their cure or societies good.

Luckily the IN legislature is making it harder on these people and the 'bath salts' crowd. You are not welcome in IN.
