06/12/13 Marshall County Emergency Management Director, Clyde Avery wants residents who would rely on the warning siren at Plymouth Speedway to be aware that they are not working.

Avery said, “Just a heads up to your listeners that the outdoor warning siren located near the race track is not working.  With the potential for severe weather tonight, we want to make sure people living in this area are not relying solely on the outdoor siren to receive an alert regarding a tornado warning.”

To receive severe weather updates, we encourage people to listen to their NOAA/All Hazard Alert Radio or stay tuned in to their local radio or television station.
