07/02/13 On Friday, June 28th, a resident of the 200 block of Baker Street in Plymouth called 9-1-1 and advised that he had surprised a male subject that had broken into his house. The caller stated that the suspect was running to the north toward Centennial Park and that he was chasing him.  Cpl. Ray West located the suspect in Centennial Park and he was identified as 57 year old Jeffrey B. Lusch of Waterloo, IN.

During investigation it was determined that a crowbar had been used to force a back door open and the suspect had removed cash before running from the scene. The cash was located in the possession of Mr. Lusch. A crowbar was also located inside the victim’s residence.

During questioning Jeffrey Lusch admitted that he had entered the residence and taken cash from the residence. He also stated that he was on probation for burglary in DeKalb County Indiana.

Jeffrey Lusch was lodged in the Marshall County Jail and booked for Burglary as a Class B Felony and Theft as a Class D Felony. His bond has been set at $50,000.00 cash.
