10/18/13 The students at Webster Elementary raised $749.80 to contribute to United Way through their annual Penny War.
First grade was the grade level that “won” the friendly competition this year. Alexis Doll, shown in the photo, brought in her “life savings” in a water bottle from home to help support the United Way and her grade level.
Webster students and staff have supported the United Way and its partner agencies for many years. Our families and students utilize many of the United Way partner agencies including Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, the Marshall County Boys and Girls Club and the Neighborhood Center on a regular basis.
