08/06/13  On Friday, August 2nd at approximately 5:30 p.m. Plymouth Police Officer Derek Workman conducted a traffic stop at Oak Drive and Jim Neu Drive.  During the investigation 21 year old Jeffrey L. Knoebel of Winamac who was a passenger in the vehicle was found to have two active warrants out of Hamilton and Starke County.  As Mr. Knoebel was asked to identify himself he attempted to use a different name and date of birth date before a positive identity was obtained.  Marshall County K-9 Arras was requested to assist and gave a positive indication of narcotics in the vehicle.  During the search of the vehicle several precursors along with paraphernalia were located.  That led to the arrest of 36 year old Billy Ottinger of Walkerton for possession of chemical reagents and or precursors and the arrest of 57 year old Kay F. Fisher of Plymouth for possession of chemical reagents and or precursors.  All three subjects were transported to the Marshall County Jail where Jeffery Knoebel and Billy Ottinger were held on $3,005 bonds and Kay Fisher was held on a $1,505 bond.

On Saturday, August 3rd at 2:53 a.m. Officer Gary Cleveland was northbound on Michigan Street at Monroe when he observed a Cadillac heading southbound cross the center line.  Officer Cleveland initiated a traffic stop on 29 year old Edgar R. Vasquez of Hobart who was found to be suspended and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior charge.  The passenger in the vehicle, 18 year old Shayna Polley of Crown Point was found to be illegally consuming of alcohol.  Both subjects were transported to the Marshall County Jail where Shayne Polley was held on a $1,005 bond and Edgar R. Vasquez was held on a $3,005 bond.

Later Saturday afternoon at 3:32 PM Office Jesse Pippenger was dispatched to 722 North Michigan Street in reference to an unresponsive female laying the yard.  Arriving at the location and assisted by Plymouth EMS  Officer Pippenger located 21 year old Nichole R. Tomassetti of Conneticut.  Tomassetti was found to be intoxicated.   He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail on public intoxication charges and held on a $1,505 bond.

On Sunday, August 4th at 1:42 a.m. Officer Benjamin McIntyre was dispatched to the area of 5th and Jefferson Streets in reference to a passenger car that had struck a telephone pole.  Arriving at the scene, 58 year old Theresa A. Tabolt of Plymouth was found to be intoxicated with a BAC of .19%.  Tabolt was taken into custody and transported to the County Jail where she was held on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment.   Tabolt was booked on a $1,505 bond. She was released Sunday at 12:00 p.m. after posting bond and will appear in Superior Court II on August 20th for her initial hearing.

Later Sunday afternoon at 4:44 Officer Jesse Pippenger was dispatched to the alley behind 309 Baker Street in reference to a suspicious vehicle.  Arriving there contact was made with 21 year old Shane E. Weedling of Argos who attempted to use a false name to identify himself. Weedling was properly identified and was found to have an active warrant through Marshall County for a probation violation.  He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on probation violation with no bond and false informing charge with a $1,005 bond.
