04/23/13  On Saturday, April 20th at 2:25 A.M. Plymouth Police Officer Chris Miller responded to the 600 block of West Washington Street after Marshall County 911 dispatch received a call of a domestic fight between a father and son.  After conducting a short investigation 22 year old, John A. Popi Jr. of Plymouth was located outside of the Mayflower Tavern.  He was taken into custody for public intoxication.  Popi was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in on a $1,005 cash bond.  He was released on Monday, April 22nd with No Judicial Review.

Later Saturday night at 11:47 P.M. Sergeant Gary Cleveland responded to the 2,000 block of North Michigan Street after receiving a complaint from a resident of an unwanted guest that was in possession of drugs in their residence.  Arriving at the location, contact was made with 29 year old Benita Masterson of Hamlet.  Masterson was found to be in possession of marijuana, an unknown white powdery substance and several paraphernalia items.  Masterson was transported to the County Jail and booked in on a $1,505 bond.  She was given a Tuesday, April 30th court date in Superior Court I.

On Saturday, April 21st at 11:36 P.M. Officer Ryan Richey conducted a traffic stop on North Michigan Street in Christo’s Family Dining parking lot.   42 year old Eugene O. Vanvynckt III of Plymouth was found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.  He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in on a $255 bond.  Vanvynct was released Sunday morning at 9:50 A.M. after posting bond.
