11/26/13 On Friday, November 22nd at 5:20 p.m. Plymouth Police Officer Benjamin McIntyre observed a vehicle driving erratically southbound on Michigan Street. Officer McIntyre also observed the vehicle almost strike a vehicle from behind and almost hit another vehicle head on as the vehicle turned into the McDonald’s parking lot. A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver, 42 year old John Hardesty of Plymouth. Mr. Hardesty admitted to being intoxicated but refused to summit to a field and sobriety test. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15 or more and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering another person. A cash bond was set at $1,505 for Hardesty. He was released the next day after posting bond and received an December 3rd, Superior Court II date to appear.
Later that night at 8:30 p.m. Officer Mark Owen while working security for Martin’s Super Market arrested 19 year old Brandi Price of Plymouth for theft. She was transported to the County Jail and held on a $1,505 cash bond.
On Sunday, November 24th at 5:14 p.m. Officer Joe Deisch responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a male shoplifter. Arriving at the store, Officer Deisch arrested 23 year old Jerry S. Joseph of Plymouth for theft. He was transported to the County Jail and held on a $3,005 cash bond.
