The NEW Classic Hits, local News, Sports & Weather radio station of 1050AM “The Chief” has joined the growing team of Plymouth Speedway (IN) in becoming the title sponsor for the 2013 Super Street Division!
WTCA-AM will provide a $2500 season point fund to the Super Street division! “WTCA-AM and the community of Plymouth are so very excited about what is happening at the track. The track has been around for over 50 years and this has to be the most anticipated year of racing at the track since the year it opened,” said WTCA-AM Sales Manager Jim Bottorf. “Where else are you going to find Tony Stewart, David Stremme, Ken Schrader, and I’ve heard possibly other well-known drivers turning laps on the new dirt track. Five divisions of race cars each night, including the competitive Super Streets, it just is going to be a great season and 1050AM will be there supporting the drivers, crews, fans, and staff of Plymouth Speedway,” Bottorf stated. Track owner Ed Kennedy commented that “WTCA-AM 1050 has already done so much for the track over the past years, including volunteering and giving our track announcer some air time, it is an honor for us to have this great local radio station provide even more support.”
With the sponsorship of $2500 for the Super Street season point fund, WTCA-AM joins a growing list of area businesses wanting to be a part of the much anticipated inaugural season of dirt racing at Plymouth
