04/19/13 The National Weather service in northern Indiana has issued a FLOOD WARNING for the Yellow River at Plymouth.  The flood warning is in effect from Friday to late Monday night.

  At 8 a.m. Thursday the river was at 9 feet and at noon it had risen to 9.2 feet and was still rising.  At 3:45 p.m. the river was at 9.59.   Thursday at 9:45 p.m. showed the Yellow River at 10.33.  At 7:45 am this morning the river was at 11.71 feet.

  Flood stage is 13 feet.  The national weather service is predicting moderate flooding with the Yellow River expected to rise above flood stage Friday evening and crest near 13.9 feet around 8 p.m. Saturday. The river should fall below flood stage about 3 a.m. on Monday, April 22nd.

  The City has sand and bags in the Garro Street parking lot behind Hoffman Brothers Auto Parts for anyone who needs to sandbag.
