12/24/13 Youth Leadership Marshall County participants were able to explore Marshall County’s rich history at their December meeting.

The meeting was held at the Marshall County Museum Historic Crossroads Center earlier this month.

The group started their meeting with an etiquette lesson and networking dinner. Participants learned the basics of dinner etiquette and networking. After a lovely meal provided by Debbie Haeck, her son Brad Haeck and Maggie Roahrig, the youth were then given a private tour of the Marshall County Museum Historic Crossroads Center.

The group explored different aspects of Marshall County history and enjoyed seeing displays ranging from Boy Scouts, to trains, to transportation history. The YLMC group will hold their next meeting in January and will be discussing county government and criminal justice.

A special thank you to advisory board members Susan Wagner and Judy Delp who were the hostesses for the evening and helped provide the members a fantastic experience.
