PHS BPA will send 22 to State Competition

  01/23/14 Members of the Plymouth High School Business Professionals of American competition this past Saturday at Warsaw.  The Plymouth Chapter advanced 22 students to the State competition.

Placing first at districts were: Nick Bayley in Computer Network Technology, Adam Chambers in Payroll Accounting, Erin Hunter in Prepared Speech, Nate Mahan in Fundamental Spreadsheets, and Tucker Pletcher in Advanced Spreadsheets. Placing in second were: Trent Brils in Desktop Publishing, The Broadcast News Team of Ricky Cooper, Max Holloway, John Hunter, and Curtis Smith, Daniel Flynn in Graphic Design Promotion, Max Holloway in Prepared Speech, and Curtis Smith in Extemporaneous Speech.

Other individuals placing were: Adam Chambers 5th in Fundamental Desktop Publishing, Ricky Cooper 3rd in Presentation Management, Emily Denney 3rd in Advanced Accounting, Cody Gamble 3rd in both Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management Team, Michael Garrity 4th in Graphic Design Promotion, Nat Hiatt in Fundamental Accounting, Erin Hunter 8th in Interview Skills, John Hunter 4th in Presentation Management, Nate Mahan 3rd in Fundamental Accounting, Haley Mills 3rd in Interview Skills, and Ben Schenk 3rd in Prepared Speech and 9th in Interview Skills.

Due to illness and various other activities only 24 students made it to competition on Saturday and 22 were able to advance to State Competition at Indianapolis. Great job BPA students.
