About 5:30 Tuesday evening the Plymouth Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the LifePlex at 2855 Miller Drive.
A bystander noticed a man and two children get into a small pick-up truck. As they started the vehicle a spark from the starter ignited a small pool of gas that had apparently leaked from the truck. The fire spread rapidly and with the assistance of the bystander everyone got out of the truck without any injuries.
Plymouth Police assisted at the scene along with Lyons Wrecker Service.
