Driving Without a license09/09/14 On Saturday, September 6th at 10:16 P.M Plymouth Police Officer Paul Stamper conducted a traffic stop at North Michigan Street and Washington on 30 year old Carlos Reyes of Goshen. Mr. Reyes was found to be driving a vehicle without ever having received a license. He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County jail where he was held on a $255 cash bond. Reyes was released on September 7th after posting bond and was issued September 30th Superior Court II date for his initial hearing.

On Sunday, September 7th at 10:16 P.M. Officer Stamper conducted a traffic stop at East Jefferson and Polk Streets on 18 year old Keiryt Calderon of Plymouth. Mr. Calderon was taken into custody for operating a vehicle without ever having received a license. He was transported to the County Jail and held on a $255 cash bond. Calderon was released later that night after posting bond and was issued an October 21 Superior Court II date.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
