MugShot_Miller Jason WayneOn Wednesday morning August 6, at 4:25 the Plymouth Police Department received a report in reference to a break-in that had just occurred at a residence in the 700 block of West Jefferson Street. During the break-in a male and female had been battered. A suspect was identified as 31 year old Jason Miller of Knox. The suspect had left the area and was not located by police at the time of the incident.

On the morning of Thursday, August 7, Detective Leo Mangus of the Plymouth Police Department received information indicating that Jason Miller was in the Bass lake Cemetery. Detective Mangus approached the Cemetery and located Mr. Miller as a passenger in a pickup truck. While Mangus was attempting to arrest Jason Miller, the driver drove off and pursuit went on for several miles until it approached the community of Ora in Pulaski County where Detective Mangus ended it.

Later Thursday afternoon Detective Mangus received information indicating that Jason Miller was at a residence in the 19,000 block of State Road 10 near Culver. Officer Mangus located Jason Miller with assistance from the Culver Police Department and the Marshall County police. Miller was transported to the County Jail and booked in for Burglary Resulting in Bodily Injury.

Later that afternoon the driver of the truck, 26 year old Lance A. Walter of Knox was located on Nutmeg Road in Plymouth. Mr. Walter was then transported to the Starke County Jail and booked for Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle.
