02/17/14 Marshall County Jail Records Clerk, Kellie Kanarr released the Year-End Activity Report for those being lodged in the Marshall County Jail. 

The Top Ten reasons people were booked into the Marshall County Jail during 2013 were:

#10.  Public Intoxication (51)

#  9.  Illegal Consumption   (54)

#  8.  Dealing Cocaine/Meth (91)

#  7.  Operator Never Licensed (104)

#  6.  Marijuana (114)

#  5.  Driving While Suspended (117)

#  4.  Probation Violations (118)

#  3.  Theft (170)

#  2.  Failure to Appear (265)

And the # 1. Reason people were booked into the Marshall County Jail in 2013 was Operating While Intoxicated (278) 

Taking a look at bookings into the County Jail by department show the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department in the lead with 943, followed by Plymouth Police with 611 and the Indiana State Police with 124.  Other police agencies included the Bremen Police with 120, Bourbon PD at 53, Culver Police 27, Argos PD at 21 and LaPaz with 6.
