Larry O’Neal, Souvenir Chairman for the 2014 Marshall County Blueberry Festival announced this year’s Limited Edition Collector’s Basket on Thursday.
A favorite of festival goers and basket collectors, the American Traditions Basket Company in Ohio expertly hand-weaves each basket out of the finest hardwood maple veneer and uses a honey maple stain and vegetable dye colors to enhance the beauty of the baskets. All baskets are personally signed and dated by the artisan.
This year’s basket is the “Market Basket” a larger basket, measuring 10 inches high, 14 inches long and 7 ½ inches wide. It comes complete with a wooden handle, blueberry ruffled liner, plastic protector and a custom designed and engraved brass tag marking the 2014 Marshall County Blueberry Festival.
You can get your Blueberry Festival collector basket, a piece handmade in the U.S.A. with quality and craftsmanship today. A limited number of these one of a kind, timeless, treasured, unique baskets are on sale for $65 at the Marshall County Blueberry Festival on East Jefferson Street in Plymouth now and the remainder will be available at the festival over Labor Day weekend.
