WTCA and the Pilot News are joining forces to create a fun fall experience for businesses and shoppers. The 2nd annual Scarecrow Contest is underway. Businesses are invited to become a contestant in the 2014 Scarecrow Contest. All you need to do it build or buy a scarecrow and place in inside or outside your business the week of October 19th through the 25th. It’s that simple.
WTCA and the Pilot News will promote you business as a scarecrow contestant business and ask our listeners and readers to stop by and check out your scarecrows and then vote for their top 3 picks. Forms will be in the Pilot News and available at the WTCA studios at 112 West Washington Street.

The top three scarecrows will win free advertising from both the radio station and news paper. First place gets a full page ad in the Pilot and thirty commercials on WTCA. Second place received a half page ad in the paper and twenty commercials on WTCA while third place wins a quarter page ad in the news paper and ten commercials on WTCA.
Winners will be announced on October 31st in the news paper and on WTCA-FM106.1 and AM 1050.
