Meth710WWashington_1Plymouth Police received a meth tip from a local convenience store in August of 2014. They followed up on the tip which led them to 710 West Washington Street. Indiana State Police assisted them with initiating a drug investigation.

Meth710WWashington_2On the morning of Wednesday, November 12th officers from the Indiana State Police and Plymouth Police Department served a search warrant at 710 West Washington Street in Plymouth.

Meth710WWashington_3The search warrant was for suspicion of methamphetamine manufacture. 38 year-old Roy Northern was stopped by police as he left his 710 West Washington Street home that morning. He was later arrested for items found at his residence. Also located at the property was 40 year-old Jakie Dean and 42 year-old Angela Rosander who were both arrested. Many items were located at the property related to methamphetamine use and manufacture.  Northern was booked into the Marshall County Jail for possession of meth, neglect of a dependent and dealing meth and held with no bond.  Jakie Dean was booked in for dealing cocaine and possession of meth and held with no bond while Angela Rosander was booked in for visiting a common nuisance on a $505 cash bond.

Meth710WWashington_4Department of Child Services (DCS) was contacted due to two juveniles who lived in the home. The living conditions within the home were classified as deplorable by Troopers on scene. Statements gathered indicated that methamphetamine was constantly manufactured within the residence and detached garage. Two children were taken into custody by DCS.

Meth710WWashington_5Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
