Purdue Extension to Offer New 4-H Parent Orientation Sessions

February 17, 2014

2/18/14  Do you have a child that wants to join 4-H for the first time? Are you worried about what that means for you or them or your family? Join the club!

The Marshall County 4-H office is dedicated to helping new parents ease into the 4-H program. They realize that while youth get excited about 4-H, it’s important for parents or guardians to be excited about the program as well.

Their New Parent Orientation Sessions will discuss the basics of 4-H, how the program started, what you can do to help “make the best better”, and much more!

Three sessions are being offered although you only need to choose the one that works for you.  New Parent Orientation Sessions will be Thursday, February 20th from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Plymouth Public Library, Monday, March 3rd at the Bourbon Library from 6 to 8 p.m. or Tuesday, March 4th at the Culver Library from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Purdue Extension Office is asking you to RSVP to their office by the day before the session you choose to attend. You can contact them at 935-8545.
