Redevelopment Commission Updated on River Park Square

June 23, 2014

River Park Square_entryLast week members of the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission were updated on the River Park Square Project by Mike Reese from the Troyer Group.
He said the punch-list was revised on June 6th and there are another couple dozen items including casting adjustments, landscaping, drainage on the northern part of the Farmers’ Market, sod issues which keep water standing on the sidewalk and issues with some of the plants.
Commission member Nancy Felde asked to see the landscape plan. She has concerns that some of the Sycamore trees are showing signs of extreme stress. Planted last fall the warranty for the trees will run-out this fall. She was also concerned with the seeded lawn area had not taken off.
Felde asked Reese to list some of the major accomplishments from the punch-list. He indicated the parking lot striping and handicap areas re-marked the code issues with the doors and the majority of the restroom building issues were completed. He said expansion of the downtown Wi-Fi was included in the spec but contact with DC Tech hadn’t been made. On Friday DC Tech was at River Park Square installing the equipment.
