Indiana MoneyWiseState Senator Randy Head said in a recent news release, “The fiscal strength of Indiana as a whole starts with the financial literacy of individual Hoosiers.”

Responsible money management can help you avoid debt, save for retirement and make sensible investments. For that reason, the Office of the Indiana Secretary of State recently launched a new website to help Hoosiers improve their financial literacy and avoid scams. Senator Head said, “Indiana Money Wise is a free resource focused on improving each stage of financial planning for Hoosiers of all ages.”

Education materials include “Money Skills for Newlyweds,” “Financial Football” and “Investing 101.”

Senator Head said, “As the Indiana General Assembly prepares for the next budget session in January, I will continue to support prudent and responsible supervision of our state’s finances. I hope this new resource will help Hoosier families do the same.”
