Currently on display at the Culver-Union Township Public Library is the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe action figure collection of local Culver resident, Chris Chambers. The Chambers’ collection includes original action figures from the 80’s, as well as commemorative series pieces issued in 2000. Chris has been collecting action figures for 30 years. Most of the pieces were purchased from EBay or a toy store in Kokomo called Kokomo Toys. Though Chris once donated his entire collection to a young boy with 4 sisters, he has not sold any pieces as of yet. He said he would be willing to sell, but only if the buyer would want to purchase the entire collection. The collection on display at CUTPL is the third round, because the first collection was destroyed and the second collection was donated. Chris and his sons enjoy gathering pieces to build the collection.
This extensive, nostalgic collection will be on display through the end of July in both the lower and main level display cases. Please stop by to take a look in the Culver-Union Township Public Library today.
