A beautiful day greeted golfers participating in the Ancilla College Golf Classic at the Plymouth Country Club on Monday, June 9th.

The annual event was the scene of several different fundraising events like putting contests, a golf ball drop and closest to the pin contests sponsored by businesses throughout northern Indiana and raised over $24,000 for the college. The golfers played a scramble with a winning score of 53 posted by First National Bank of Monterey.

“Our event was sold out for the sixth year in a row and I want to thank everyone who took part in making that possible.  I especially want to thank our area businesses that donate prizes or play with us.  The overwhelming community support makes the Ancilla College Golf Classic the special event that it is plus the funds raised have a huge impact on the lives of our students,” stated Tom Sibal, institutional advancement associate and alumni coordinator at Ancilla College.
