03/24/14 On Friday, March 21st, about 11:30 p.m. Officer Matt Geiger with the Bourbon Police Department stopped a black Mazda passenger car for speeding on Main Street, north of 13th Trail.  The driver, Marco Tulio Ruiz of Argos was found to have never received a driver’s license.  Mr. Ruiz was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for Operator Never Licensed.  Ruiz was held on a $505 cash bond. 

 

Saturday morning March 22nd about 1:40 Officer Geiger stopped a Ford SUV on State Road 331 at 17B Road for not having any tail lights. Officer Geiger called Marshall County Officer Brandon Cooper and his K9 partner to assist in the traffic stop.  During the investigation Arras located a small amount of marijuana.  Ray C. Marlow of Goshen claimed the pot was his.  He was arrested and taken to the Bourbon Police Department where the initial paperwork was completed.  He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.  Mr. Marlow was given a court date and signed a written promise to appear.
