04/22/14 On Thursday, April 17th at 3:43 P.M. Plymouth Police Officer Derek Workman initiated a traffic stop on Michigan Street at the Airport Road. The driver, 26 year old Aaron Guyberson of South Bend was found to be Driving While Suspended with a Prior charge. He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond.
On Saturday, April 19th at 2:34 A.M. Officer Gary Cleveland conducted a traffic stop at Michigan and Harrison Street on a vehicle for an unsafe lane change. The driver, 18 year old Mary Stiles of Plymouth was taken into custody for Operating a Vehicle While Suspended and Illegal Consumption of Alcohol. The passenger, 18 year old Steven Bishop of Plymouth was taken into custody for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol. Two juveniles in the vehicle were arrested for being Under the Influence of an Alcoholic Beverage. The juveniles were reported to the Marshall County Juvenile Department and released to their parents. Mary Stiles and Steven Bishop were both transported to the County Jail where Stiles was held on a $1,505 bond and Bishop on a $505 bond. Both Subjects were released on April 21st with No Judicial Review.
At 4:32 A.M. Officer Bridget Hite received a complaint of a possible theft and observed a vehicle matching the description pull into a parking lot at Bayless and Jackson Heights. As Officer Hite pulled up behind the vehicle she made contact with the driver, 38 year old Dawn M. Deleon of Plymouth and discussed the stolen jewelry and other items. During the investigation a controlled substance was located. Deleon as taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on $3,005 bond.
At 5:20 P.M. Saturday Officer Ben McIntyer was dispatched to Wendy’s in reference to a panhandler that they wanted removed from their property. Contact was made with the female, 35 year Jody L. Miller of Winona Lake. She was informed of the complaint and asked to move along. A check of Miller’s identification showed an active warrant through Allen County for Criminal Conversion. She was taken into custody and transported to the County Jail and held for Allen County.
Later Saturday night at 6:09 P.M. Officer Bob DeLee responded to CVS in reference to a male shoplifter. Officer DeLee located and arrested 49 year old William P. Brown of Plymouth for Theft. He was transported to the Jail and held on a $1,505 bond. Brown was released after posting bond that day and received a Superior Court I date of on May 20th to appear.
On Friday, April 20th at 10:31 P.M. Plymouth Police Officer Paul Stamper conducted a traffic stop in the westbound lanes of US 30 near State Road 17. The driver, 39 year old Christopher L. Aragon of Chicago was Operating a Motor Vehicle without Receiving a License. He was taken into custody and held in the County Jail on a $755 bond. Aragon was released Saturday after posting bond and will appear in Superior Court II on May 27th.
