ArrestedTuesday morning about 12:45 officers from the Marshall County Police Department were dispatched to a fight in progress at 1426 Jute Road in Bremen.

Arriving at the scene, officers made contact with an adult male who stated he had been battered by Larry W. Baltes. An investigation at the scene yielded probable cause that Baltes had struck the victim in the face, and had bitten the victim on the upper thigh. This resulted in moderate injury to the victim, who refused medical treatment at the scene of the incident.

Baltes of was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was lodged for the Battery Resulting in Moderate Injury, Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct. Formal charges are pending through the Marshall County Prosecutors Office at this time.
