The 2014 Marshall County Blueberry Festival Parade went off without a hitch under some pretty cloudy skies Monday morning.
Just prior to the parade was the annual Blueberry stomp where hundreds participated in the 1 mile fun run and walk, the 5K run and the 15 K run.
Local Olympian Morgan Uceny graced the stop and was out at the front of the pack on her way south of town and as she headed back to Centennial Park for the final leg of the 5K race she was out in front of the whole pack….but isn’t that what would you expect from our local pro? People along the parade route cheered loudly as she passed by the WTCA broadcast table cheering Uceny on. She was this year’s champion.
