Saturday morning just before 1, Bourbon Police Officers stopped to help a stranded motorist at US 30 and US 31 and found a little more than that.
The discovered the driver, 19 year old Nikwain Williams did not have a valid driver’s license or insurance on the vehicle.
Bourbon Officer Geiger inventoried the vehicle before it was impounded at Reichert and Knepp towing, and located individually wrapped bags of marijuana.
Mr. Williams and his passenger, 24 year old Alfred Scarbrough and 19 year Treyvaughn Perry also of South Bend were all arrested for possession of marijuana. Each received a November 18th court date in Marshall Superior Court II. Perry is being held on a $5,000 cash bond while the other two have cash bonds of $1,500.
