On Tuesday, December 16th Bourbon EMS and Police Officer Matthew Geiger were called to 317 West Park Street for a medical call.
While emergency responders were at the home it was discovered that the residents, Brooks Helmuth and Audrey Pickard had in their possession some prescription medication without having a doctor’s prescription.
Each one is being charged with possession of a controlled substance and the cases are being forwarded to the Prosecutor’s office.
Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
