05/19/14 Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger said, Thirty-nine year old Stephen Kessenger of Bremen was killed at 4:38 a.m. Sunday morning when his motorcycle crossed the center line, left the roadway and struck several mail boxes in the 2100 block of State Road 331, east of downtown Bremen. 

Kessenger was found in the front yard of a residence and his motorcycle was in the center of the road. 

Deputy Coroner Lilly Mansfield said it appeared that Kessenger had traveled some distance through the front yards of some residences knocking over mail boxes along the way including one brick one. 

The Marshall County Police Department and the Bremen Police Department are handling the accident investigation. 

Mansfield said that toxicology samples were taken and the preliminary results should be available later this week. 

Kessenger would have been 40 years old on Monday. 

The coroner’s office is continuing the investigation into this accident.
