07/21/14 Bremen Police Chief Matt Hassel released the July 11th through the 17th department activity report.
During the time period Bremen Police officers issues a total of 7 traffic citation and 19 traffic warnings. Looking at the offense report we see theft at the top of the list with 4 while all other offenses has one report: possession of cocaine, reckless possession of paraphernalia, OWI Endangering a person, OWI on a controlled substance, minor consuming, possession of marijuana, arson battery, strangulation, disorderly conduct and identity theft.
Bremen officers arrested Edward A. Cochran from Bourbon and Jacob T. Weese from Rochester last week.
Three crash reports were taken on property damage accidents by Bremen Police Officers: July 12th at Hope and Plymouth Streets, July 15th at Bowen and Plymouth Streets and July 16th at Bremen Castings. Bremen officers also responded to 7 fire calls: July 12th the crash, a dumpster fire at 1005 W. Plymouth Street on the 13th, a fire alarm at the Whitlock on the 15th, a crash on the 15th at US 6 and Dogwood Road, a personal injury report on the 15th at 106 and Miami, a false alarm on the 16th at the Bremen High School 512 West Grant Street and a smoke detector false alarm on the 16th at 2292 Dogwood Road.
